Relax in nature, swim in a natural pool, dance with a world class tango teacher (optional classes), and rest in our sweet casita. We practice regenerative farming; with an organic vegetable garden for our gourmet meals. Meals and local wines at additional pricing if you wish. Cash only please. The space The landscape is meadow and field surrounded by native forest and the Riachuelo river. Walk in the forest, or hang out in the hammock. Plus there are many fun things to do in this area.... We are practicing permaculture and regenerative farming; homesteading. Both of us are happy to share what we have learned in these last 4 years if you are interested. My husband Raul is a professional tango dancer and teacher; he worked in what was the best school for tango in the world for more than 12 years; the DNI tango school in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He has travelled around the world teaching and performing. If you have never taken a tango class, he's a wonderful teacher to introduce you to the world of Tango. And if you are already dancing tango; he is an expert to help you up level your skills. Guest access Campo Tango consists of 27 acres (11 hectares), mostly meadow with native forest and the Riachuelo river on two sides. We invite you to explore. Please bring strong footwear or boots for walking around as many of the native trees have spines! We also recently built a natural swimming pool....22 meters long. My wife uses it every day of the year, even in winter!! Because it is a living system it sometimes has different plant growth (the water is always moving so it does not encourage mosquitos)...we do our best to keep it as clear as possible. ... If you wish to cook (in the fully equipped kitchen - and if you need something not in the house let us know. We can share from our organic garden, just ask us for a tour and you will see what is in season; we simply ask for a donation to help support our work here. If you do not have a Uruguayan chip with data, we can provide you with one for an additional $550 pesos so you can stay connected. **We have a dry toilet to conserve water. We do not use any chemicals; and request you to use our lovely natural products which we provide for free. Soap, Shampoo, Conditioner, Deodorant, Toothpaste, and bug spray.
