We block a full day after guests departure to do an extensive sanitation of the property between guests. Nestled on a quiet cul-de-sac on 1/2 acre, this charming older home offers cozy, relaxing, privacy only 2 minutes from Union Square and downtown Hickory. Ideal for business travelers, artists, a small family. The house interiors have been updated; including a comfortable living room (TV includes Hulu Live and Netflix), full kitchen (with a washer and dryer), two comfortable bedrooms with 100% cotton linens, a bonus room den space or additional work space - with second TV, plus a private balcony overlooking the property and adjacent forest. The balcony offers an optimal opportunity for watching an abundance of bird species. One bedroom doubles as an office, with an executive desk and comfortable workspace. Pets: A pet must be approved by us before booking. The limit is one. [There could be an additional cleaning fee (depending on pet and length of stay)]. The entry to the home has three stone steps up from the off street parking pad, and a stepping stone pathway.
