Family home - La Rabouillère

Our family home will appeal to nature and space lovers! Away from the village, in a green setting, it has a large garden with trees and a large living room with a beautiful fireplace, where you can enjoy your meals and extend your evenings before setting off to discover the region. The space On the hillside, the house is an old farm whose garden has a vast panorama over a wooded area and fields. You will have the whole house, and a large part of the garden for your own use. On the ground floor you will find a fully equipped kitchen, a living-dining room overlooking a terrace as well as a toilet and an extra shower. On the first floor you will find 5 bedrooms: - one with two single beds - two with a double bed, - a master suite with a bedroom for parents and, adjoining, a space ideally accommodating a baby (crib) or that can be used as an office. - one bedroom with a bunk bed. Finally, a bathroom with a large bathtub, and separate toilet. In a village 2 km away, you will find an excellent bakery, butcher shop, grocery store and pharmacy. Located in the heart of the Thiérache, the terroir of the famous Maroilles that cheese lovers love, you can discover the magnificent and numerous fortified churches, unique to this region, starting with that of Englancourt which has just been renovated and is easily accessible on foot. On the nature side, you can take many walks, go down the Oise by canoe on sunny days, walk a section of the Scandibérique, on foot, by horse or by bike. Pony club 5 minutes away. On the visit side, you will discover Guise, its Château Fort and its Familistère (15 min), Parfondeval, the most beautiful village in France (45 min), Laon and the incredible richness of its cathedral and its medieval streets (45 min), or Saint-Quentin, the city of Fine Arts (45 min). The house is suitable for quiet stays, or reunions with family or friends. We are gradually renovating it to satisfy our guests even more. Guest access You will have the whole house, and a large part of the garden for your own use. Other things to note The cleaning fee includes bed linen (beds will be made upon arrival) and bath towels (size 30 x 50). For the use of the fireplace, the first fire is free. For the others, wood will be on site but we will ask you to pay on site for the use of wood in addition (about 4 euros for an evening of 3 to 4 hours of fire).
