Cosy Relaxing Flat above Organic Grocer.

Beautiful rustic accommodation above an Organic Grocery Store in a 200 year old building. Located in Athlone's Left Bank cultural and foodie quarter, just a stone's throw from the oldest pub in the world (Sean's Bar), Athlone Castle, the River Shannon, the wonderful Luan Gallery and some of the best restaurants in Athlone. The space Accommodation is comprised of own entrance hall, bathroom with cast iron roll-top bath, double bedroom and living area with an impressive floor to ceiling book-shelved library and wood-burning stove. While we don't have cooking facilities, we do provide a kettle and toaster and we leave breakfast items from our organic store downstairs such as sourdough bread, milk, butter, granola, yoghurt, tea, coffee etc. and if you happen to stay over when the store is open and the coffee machine is on, you are very welcome to grab a coffee from there! Please note our heating is solid fuel, we provide enough wood for your stay to ensure you are nice and cosy! Guest access Own door and hallway, initial access via shop or key-box. Guest accommodation includes a double bedroom, living area with stove and lots of books, bathroom with roll-top bath. Other things to note We leave take-away menus for the local restaurants in the entrance hallway, we set the timer for the hot water so you never go short and we leave our phone number so you can contact us at any time!
