Description
We have just completed our unique shepherd's hut in our beautiful garden and we'd love you to come and stay. The space is warm and comfortable and feels like a real treat. Cozy up inside or sit out on the decking over-looking our veg plots, little fruit orchard and garden, enjoying views up towards the town of Inverkeithing. Introduce yourself when you book and let me know about your visit. The space The Wee Haven is equipped with a comfortable double bed with 100% cotton bedding; a kitchen which includes a coffee machine, kettle, air-fryer, single hob, under-counter fridge with small freezer compartment and all you need to prepare simple meals and snacks to eat inside or out. There is hot water throughout and an internal shower-room and toilet. The hut is cozy and warm for the cooler months being insulated with sheep's wool, has double glazing and is heated with electric radiators. We are located a 12 minute walk from Inverkeithing station where there are trains to Edinburgh at least every 20 minutes. The journey takes approximately 25 minutes, sometimes less. We are also a 12 minute walk from Inverkeithing town where there is a small supermarket (open from 7am-10pm), coffee shops, an Indian restaurant and a variety of take away food outlets. Dalgety Bay is a 5 minute drive away where there is a selection of restaurants and pubs, and a small M&S Food outlet. Inverkeithing is ideally situated for travelling in and out of Edinburgh between 6am and 11pm. Enjoy the city and then enjoy retreating to our peaceful garden at the end of a busy day. We are located 2 minutes from the Fife Coastal Path for a pleasant or those of you tackling the whole thing. If you are driving we are ideally suited to explore the Outlander series' locations including Hopetoun House, Blackness Castle and Culross. The Kelpies and the Falkirk Wheel are also an easy drive away or if you want to venture further Perthshire or the East Neuk of Fife are also an option. Guest access The Wee Haven will be all yours for the duration of your stay. It includes a small decking area but you're welcome to enjoy our garden too. Other things to note We would ask all guests to be respectful of our neighbours and ourselves by not sitting out on the deck chatting beyond 10pm. Music outside is not permitted.
