The space Historic holiday home in the Taunus with garden, fireplace & stream access Welcome to Lindenhof! Our cozy apartment is located in a lovingly restored house on a listed three-sided courtyard from 1820 – surrounded by greenery, on the edge of the Taunus between Koblenz and Frankfurt. You will live in the house alone. 🏡 Living with charm and history Quarry stone below, timber frame above – the house combines rustic charm with modern comfort. On the ground floor is a spacious entrance area with space for jackets, shoes, etc. A staircase leads up to the open living and dining area with plenty of space, high ceilings and a great feeling of spaciousness. Here you can make yourself comfortable in front of the fireplace in the rocking chair – we are happy to provide you with wood. 🛋️ Cozy cooking, eating, relaxing The living area offers a comfortable seating area with a 40-inch smart TV and a dining table with four chairs. The open kitchen is fully equipped – with a ceramic hob, oven, fridge, coffee maker and kettle. 🛏️ Sleeping & bathing The separate bedroom offers a 1.60 m wide double bed with a comfortable, 30 cm high mattress. Directly adjacent you will find a spacious bathtub – perfect for relaxing. In the living room there is a pull-out sofa bed and an additional cot if required. 🌿 Your private outdoor area The house has its own small terrace with adjoining garden – completely for your exclusive use. Here you can barbecue, have breakfast in the sun or simply enjoy the tranquility. A small stream flows directly along the property – with private access to the water. 📶 Internet & reception In the apartment you have Wi-Fi with around 12 Mbit, stable and reinforced by a separate repeater. Mobile reception varies depending on the provider – especially with Vodafone or O2 you usually have good reception. Overall, the Internet connection is sufficient for normal surfing, emails and streaming in standard quality. 🔥 Heating & well-being Heating is classic with a standard heater. If you like, you can also use the fireplace for cozy warmth. 🚗 Good to know: Private parking right outside the door Separate entrance with key box – arrival is completely flexible Barbecue area available WiFi included Dogs are welcome! Children anyway! 🕑 Check-in & rules Check-in is usually possible from 3 pm – also flexible by arrangement. Parties are not allowed – we ask for a respectful and quiet handling of the house and surroundings. 🍽️ Food & surroundings Directly opposite is "Simones Imbiss" – a real insider tip for hearty home cooking (open Thu-Sun). The nearest baker is in the neighboring village, and for shopping you drive to the nearby cities. 🌄 What you can experience here Niederbachheim is a small place with about 250 inhabitants – quiet, close to nature and ideal for switching off. The surroundings invite you to long walks with dogs, hikes, bike tours and excursions. Numerous castles, viewpoints and the nearby Rhine and Lahn make every day a little adventure. A well-equipped and well-maintained children's playground is right around the corner. Guest access The whole house is available. Other things to note The garden is not completely fenced. One side is bordered by the house, one by the stream and one by a fence. The garden is only open to the street (which is hardly used, zone 30).
