The space Centrally located in Western Washington, "The Folly" gives you easy access to the sites and activities around Puget Sound. Easy Travel to Seattle and parts north on the I-5. Leisurely sailing on a multitude of our local ferries. Alpine vistas or ski slopes from Mount Baker to Mount St. Helens. Golf at a multitude of courses, included Chambers Bay - Home of the 2015 U.S. Open. Relaxing by the pool on a blue sky afternoon. ~The house is fully furnished with 4 bedrooms, 2 updated baths with showers and an additional powder room. ~~Main floor: King bed for 2 (Bedroom 1) ~~ Main Floor: Powder room (Bathroom 1 - NOT FULL BATH) ~~ 2nd Floor View Room: Queen Size Bed for 2 (Bedroom 4) ~~ 2nd Floor Street Side Room: Full Size Bed for 2 (Bedroom 3) ~~ 2nd Floor Master: Ensuite Bathroom & Queen Bed for 2 (Bedroom & Bath 2) ~~ 2nd Floor Open Landing: 2 Twin Beds (Bedroom 5 - Not a private space) ~~ 2nd Floor Guest Bath with Shower (Bathroom 3) ~~ Main floor pullout in the sectional for the 7th bed, not a private space ~The kitchen looks out over the Sound and has been refreshed with all new appliances, countertops and seating. ~ Lots of space to spread out: large living room, landing office space, dining room stocked with games, and of course the pool ~ Living on the water, we usually have a nice breeze in the summer. Bright and sunny light from the west. This house does not have air conditioning. ~ The grounds contain fruit trees, a heated pool, off-street parking, and a beautiful porch. Home owners live on adjacent property, steps away if any challenges arise. A pool waiver must be signed by all guests staying in the house, regardless of time of year or intentions to swim. Guest access Electronic Key Pad access is used to enter the house from the main entry and the pool deck. The code is changed after each guest. Guests have full access to the main floor and top floor. Ground floor access is limited to the washer/dryer and pool deck entry. The ground floor closets and a studio apartment (unoccupied) are locked, private, and not for guest's use. Other things to note House is for registered guests only, with a maximum of 10 people inside unless you have prior approval from host. Coordination with host for larger groups, inside or out, must occur a week in advance and is capped at 14 people with all events outside ending at 10 p.m. Pool is heated May 15 - September 30th. October 1- May 14 pool is not heated. An additional daily fee of $50 will be assessed if you wish to have the pool heated during this time of year. All guests, will be required to sign a waiver for the pool, regardless of whether or not they intend to swim. Smoking, vaping, and animals not permitted on the property.
