Description
Distinct off-grid geo dome enjoys a forested view lot on Quesnel Lake with a personal lakeshore pebble beach, and dock. Sleeps 4 and is pet friendly. Endless trails and shoreline to explore on host’s 40-waterfront-acres backing onto crown land. Quesnel Lake is the deepest fiord lake in N. America beneath snow-capped Cariboo Mnts. Likely: Cariboo’s hub of history provides access to Quesnel Forks, predecessor of famous Barkerville, Bullion Pits, Museum and the local Pub-a museum in itself! The space We are excited to share what we believe is a hidden gem, nestled on 40 acres adjacent to crown land, with miles of winding shoreline to discover. The lake is inviting and crystal clear, providing the perfect backdrop for your adventures. Enjoy your expansive forest lot with stunning lake views and a short forest trail leading to your personal beach. Firewood is provided for cozy lakeside fires, a propane fire pit and BBQ is conveniently located just outside the dome along with a dining area for enjoying meals al fresco. You'll find numerous cozy ‘sit-spots’ to observe wildlife, listen to the calls of eagles, chirping of forest creatures, soak up the sun, or relax in the refreshing shade. Explore a vast network of trails perfect for wandering, hiking, biking, and off-roading, all either on the property or just a short drive away. Guest access Guests are welcome to explore every corner of the property, and we love meeting new people and sharing our space with you. We can offer guided tours of local hiking and off-road trails, or if you prefer to venture out on your own—whether on land or water—we're happy to provide directions. If you have your own off-road vehicle or mountain bike, there’s ample parking and secure storage available. You won't be disappointed by the diverse range of adventures available, whether on four wheels, two wheels, or simply using your own two feet! Other things to note The dome is crafted to make your stay feel like a true home away from home. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary cooking essentials and basic supplies, such as butter, oils, spices, coffee, tea, sugar, and food wraps. We provide all linens, including beach towels and blankets, as well as extra comforters and cozy blankets for up to four guests. The bathroom is stocked with essential soaps and shampoos—just don't forget to bring your preferred personal toiletries! Additionally, firewood and fire starters are available for those unexpectedly cool nights. Our local store, Valley General, is conveniently located just 5 km away and is well-stocked with anything you might need if you happen to forget something. For dining, you can also enjoy a pleasant experience at our local pub, The Likely Lodge, which offers a fun alternative to cooking. With a sunny patio perfect for afternoon lounging and stunning evening sunsets, it’s an ideal place to relax. Alternatively, you can order takeout and savor your meal at your own private lakeside spot. If you're traveling from a distance, Williams Lake Airport is conveniently situated less than an hour away. We provide pickup and drop-off services for a reasonable fee, which includes a stop at a grocery store for your convenience. Registration Details Provincial registration number: H044639099
