Eagles' retreat

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Enjoy the river views, spot the bald eagle that likes to perch in front of the window, hike or bike the Empire State trail. Please note: this is a small house; although it has bedding for 4 people the kitchen only has a 2-piece electric stovetop. You will find oil and vinegar, spices etc., pots and pans, and breakfast supplies in the fridge and pantry. The space The house is on a 1.7 acre lot on Rondout Creek, all yours to use. swimming in the creek is very nice but requires stepping on sharp stones to get in, please exercise caution. We see deer, the occasional otter or fox, and many kinds of birds including a pileated woodpecker and a couple of bald eagles that nest nearby and fish in the river, please be respectful of the wildlife.
