Welcome to our newly renovated 2-bedroom lodge (sleeps 4) with sweeping views over the Cromarty Firth and up to the iconic Fyrish Monument. Ideally located at the start of the North Coast 500 (NC500), just 23 miles north of Inverness, and a short distance between Evanton and Alness, it’s the perfect base for exploring the Scottish highlands Located between the Inverness- Wick railway line and the B817 (the old A9), it’s perfect for walking, canoeing, and fishing, or just relaxing. The space Spacious living area complete with modern log burner, 40” smart TV, Bluetooth sound bar and comfy sofa. 2 bedrooms, one double and one twin, with bedside charging points and drawer units. Modern kitchen with built in full size fridge freezer, electric oven, induction hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee pod machine. Bathroom with electric pumped shower, Backlit anti fog mirror, heated towel rail and counter top sink. Other things to note Please note that we are situated between the B817 and the railway line in a cutting along one edge of the property. Obviously we have some noise when the trains go past it’s not an overly busy line and they don’t tend to run through the night. We do get the “Harry Potter” steam train and guests usually find it a bit of a novelty. Secure storage for bikes is available by prior request. Please note that the lodge will only sleep 4 people as per our license, so please don’t arrive with more people in your party or your booking will be cancelled. Registration Details HI-20230-F
