Agriturismo Valli - "Alloro" Apartment

Surrounded by the countryside of Castiglione di Garfagnana, Agriturismo Valli sits on an ancient rocky hilltop that once served as an outpost of the medieval castle. Originally a farmhouse from the early 1900s, it now welcomes guests with a warm and authentic atmosphere. A small-scale wine production still takes place here, thanks to the vineyard that surrounds the property, preserving the true spirit of Garfagnana. The pool, nestled in greenery, invites you to enjoy moments of pure relaxation. The space Alloro is an apartment obtained from the renovation of the old stable, and it retains all the authentic charm of the past. The interiors feature exposed wooden beams, a spacious living area, and distinctive frescoes created by a well-regarded local artist who grew up between Florence and the Garfagnana. The rustic, fully equipped kitchen blends harmoniously into the living space, which also includes a television. The apartment also offers a double bedroom and a second bedroom with two single beds, both carefully furnished in traditional style, as well as a functional and modern bathroom with shower. Outside, guests can enjoy a private green area, while the agriturismo’s swimming pool is available for shared use with other guests, for moments of complete relaxation. Guest access Guests have private access to the Alloro apartment, along with a dedicated outdoor area. The swimming pool and garden are shared with the other guests of the Agriturismo, which includes a total of 3 apartments. Free parking is available within the property. IMPORTANT: The pool is open during June, July, August, and September. Other things to note During your stay, we are available to provide recommendations on local restaurants where you can enjoy authentic Tuscan cuisine, suggestions for activities in the area, and must-see excursions. Additionally, we are happy to connect you with local services, such as taxis, tour guides, or bookings for unique regional experiences. To ensure a comfortable and trouble-free stay, the two main house rules regarding heating and the swimming pool are outlined here. All other provisions, including those on smoking, check-in/check-out times, and care of the property, are listed in the full house rules. 1) HEATING The property is located in climate zone E. In accordance with national and local regulations on energy efficiency and environmental protection, heating may only be turned on from October 15th to April 15th. Use of heating outside these dates is not permitted. These measures ensure responsible energy use and contribute to the sustainability of the property and surrounding area. 2) SWIMMING POOL The pool is available from June 1st to September 30th.
