The space Nestled on a peaceful cove of Douglas Lake, Driftwood on Douglas offers the perfect blend of relaxation, outdoor fun, and modern comfort — all with stunning lake views and a private dock just steps away (seasonal access, see below). This spacious lake house features: Large private driveway with plenty of space for vehicles, trailers, and boats. Private pool and hot tub overlooking the lake — perfect for summer lounging. (Open November-March for an additional fee) Outdoor kitchen equipped with a grill, mini fridge, and prep space for lakeside dining. Fire pit area with Adirondack chairs — great for s’mores under the stars or a relaxing morning cup of coffee. Private dock for boating, fishing, or relaxing on the water (see seasonal note below). Please Note: Seasonal Lake Access pending water levels. Driftwood on Douglas is located on a quiet cove just off the main channel. Water levels are lowered during the winter months (typically October through April) by the TVA, which means there is no direct water access from the property during that time. Guest access Guests will have full access to the entire home, including all living spaces, bedrooms, bathrooms, and outdoor amenities such as the private pool, outdoor kitchen, fire pit, and dock (seasonally). *Please note that two owner's closets and the garage are locked and not available for guest use. These areas are used for storage and maintenance supplies.* We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy everything else Driftwood on Douglas has to offer! Other things to note Lake Levels are determined by the TVA *we have no control over lake levels* and do not issue refunds for levels that may alter your stay. They usually begin to lower levels at the end of September for the winter and begin to raise them in April reaching full pool typically by Memorial Day (not guaranteed). Swimming pool will only be open November-March for an additional $500 fee to cover opening, heating and maintenance. Hot tub available year round.
