The home’s layout is ideal for families- a spacious living area for gathering, a fully equipped kitchen, and comfortable bedrooms to unwind after a day of adventure. Sip your morning coffee on the deck as deer and eagles pass by, or roast marshmallows under a blanket of stars by the fire pit. Whether you’re here for a summer getaway or a winter retreat, the cottage offers a perfect base for exploring the Kootenai National Forest, snowmobile and ATV trails, and the charming town of Bonners Ferry, just a short drive away. This home features Wi-Fi (limited cell service when not using wi-fi in the area) and central heating, along with a wood stove for added warmth. Sleeping Arrangements (Sleeps 7) Master Bedroom: King-sized bed, nightstands, desk, TV, large walk-in closet, and private deck access. Ensuite bath includes double sinks, bathtub, shower, and separate toilet area. Bedroom 2: Bunk bed (2 singles) with a pull-out third single bed, plus a closet. Bedroom 3: Queen-sized bed, nightstands, and a closet. Bathroom 2: Full bath with a tub/shower, easily accessible from the main living area and Bedrooms 2 & 3. Both bathrooms include hair dryers. Kitchen & Dining A fully stocked kitchen and dining area includes: Gas range, oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, kettle, skillet, plates, utensils, and cookware. Full spice rack for cooking. Dining area seats 8 comfortably. Complimentary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate provided to get you started. Living Room & Entertainment Spacious living area with a TV, Bluetooth speaker, and comfortable seating. Wood stove available if you’re comfortable using it (central heating included). Smoking or vaping of any kind is not permitted anywhere on the property — inside or out. Violation of this rule will result in a $250 fee and/or additional charges decided by our cleaning staff. No Pets: We love animals, but to maintain cleanliness and comfort for all guests, no pets are allowed on the property. No RVs, Campers, or Trailers: Parking or overnight use of RVs, campers, or trailers is not permitted on the property. The space is reserved for vehicles directly associated with your stay. ⭐ Guest Requirements: To ensure a consistent and respectful experience for all, guests must have at least two prior 5-star reviews to book. If you are a new Airbnb guest or have no prior reviews, we may require a refundable deposit. The deposit amount and refund will be determined at the discretion of our cleaning and inspection staff upon checkout. The fire pit is provided for guest enjoyment — please use it safely and responsibly. Fires must be fully extinguished before leaving the area or going inside for the night. No fires during burn bans or high-wind conditions (check local advisories). Only clean, dry firewood may be used-no trash or debris. Never leave children or fires unattended. Out of respect for our neighbors and wildlife, please keep noise levels low after 10 PM.
