Woodstock Suite

Welcome to our cozy, private suite, thoughtfully designed for two guests! Nestled in the peaceful countryside of Woodstock, our newly built guest suite offers a quiet and comfortable getaway. We're also pet-friendly, so your furry companion is welcome! 🐾 Need a longer stay? We happily accommodate extended/multi-month reservations. Our suite is a great option for professionals, traveling workers, or those temporarily displaced by the foundation issues affecting homes throughout Eastern CT. The space The suite has its own private entrance through the garage, with only the driveway being shared. Inside you'll find a comfortable bedroom, full bathroom, kitchen (please note there is no oven), living room, and dedicated office space. Within 20 minutes, you'll find hiking and walking trails, Woodstock's public beach for local residents, restaurants, sports fields, the YMCA, Walmart, and other shopping. When you're ready to relax, enjoy our backyard with outdoor seating, a fire pit, and the peaceful beauty of the surrounding countryside. Guest access Guests enjoy full private access to the entire suite, including a private entrance through the garage. The only shared area is the driveway, where a dedicated parking space is provided for your convenience. The suite is fully separate from the main home, allowing for complete privacy and no interaction or disruption between spaces. Whether guests are arriving, leaving, or staying in for the day, please use the space as your own home. You’re also welcome to relax and enjoy the backyard, which offers outdoor seating and the peaceful charm of the surrounding countryside. Other things to note Our family lives in the main part of the home. The guest suite is approximately 700 sq. ft. and is located above the 2-car garage. It is accessed by one flight of stairs. The suite has four windows in total; two in the front overlooking the driveway and two in the back facing the woodline. The bedroom includes a closet, and there are three additional storage areas located in the kneewall. The front dormers were widened to 6' to allow for usable space to sit, work, and relax. Our home has its own septic system and is not tied into city sewer, proper care of system is required by all guests.
