The Rustling Willows House

"Szumią Wierzby" is a year-round house for rent located an hour from Warsaw, on a large, fenced plot. We want to share with you the best of idyllic country life! The house is located on a former settlement, in the valley of the Wkra River, to which we have 250m. Guests have exclusive access to a house with a usable attic of 90m2 on a large, fenced plot (3000m2). There are two bedrooms with large beds (140 cm and 160 cm) + a third bedroom with a comfortable sofa (90 cm) The space 🏠OFFER DETAILS We invite up to 5 people, all pets are welcome :) Location: 65 km north of the center of Warsaw (access mainly by the 7th, the last 15 km by local roads, the last kilometer by the Mazovian sandy road). The village is Szumlin in the Joniec commune, Płoński poviat. The house is located on a former settlement, in the valley of the Wkra River, to which we have 250m. 🏡 DESCRIPTION OF THE HOUSE AND SURROUNDINGS Guests have exclusive access to a house with a usable attic of 90m2 on a large, fenced plot (3000m2). We have a fire pit with a barbecue, a sandpit, old willows, semi-wild mirabelle plums, a flower meadow and lots of greenery. We do not have a perfectly manicured lawn, but we do have a large biodiversity of pollinating insects, lizards and a crested bird's nest outside the bedroom window ;) On both sides of the house there are large, 30-meter terraces, allowing you to enjoy - depending on your preferences - the sun or shade at any time of the day. 🛜 There is Wi-Fi, but beware! - we don't have a TV ;) 🔥The house is heated by underfloor heating on the ground floor and by lighting a wood-burning stove, which adds coziness during the autumn and winter. 🧘ROOMS AND ACTIVITIES On the ground floor of the house there are: 1. a hallway, 2. a large bathroom with a bathtub, 3. a living room with a kitchenette, 4. bedroom with a large continental bed (140 cm wide). On the first floor there are: 1. a mezzanine with a children's play area and board games, 2. bedroom with a large bed (160 cm), 3. bedroom / office with a large desk for work, a bookcase and a comfortable sofa (90 cm wide), where you can also get a good night's sleep :) Available activities in the garden: - Freestanding grill - Fire pit - Badminton rackets and shuttles - SUP board - Sun loungers - Hammock 🐶 ARRIVAL WITH A DOG The plot area is as much as 3,000 m2, so the dog can run around endlessly. The house is in a loose building in the countryside - most of the time you are alone, without neighbors. The dog can lie on the terrace, explore the bushes, cool off in the tall grass or bury itself in the sand. The surrounding areas are a great place for long walks. A bed and two bowls are available on site. 💻 REMOTE WORK "Szumią wierzby" offers a 5G WiFi connection, making it great for remote work. In the office, guests will find a spacious desk located under the window with comfortable lighting. The green view outside the window will stimulate the gray cells :) On the day of arrival at the latest, you will receive a message from us with a code for the key box and detailed information about the property and the area :)
