It's ideal for anyone who wants to stay in touch with nature at every turn: over breakfast, while cooking, in the bath, or as they drift off to sleep. The space Though the cabin stands deep in the forest, where you'll feel completely alone and cut off from the outside world, inside it's a little oasis of everyday comfort. You'll find a bathtub, a cooktop, a regular flush toilet, and a fully automatic stove. Getting there means a short walk down a woodland path — just a few metres downhill — and while there are rubber boots waiting for you at the bottom, do keep in mind that the way there simply runs through the forest. Out front there's an outdoor fire pit with atmospheric lighting, perfect for warm summer evenings. As the sun goes down, you can put the fully equipped kitchen to use, or simply watch the shifting shadows of leaves dancing across the cabin's wooden walls. In the morning, brew your coffee from the capsule machine right at the bar stools, gazing out into the treetops. And if you'd like to enjoy breakfast there too, or just need somewhere to work, simply pull out the table tucked beneath the kitchen counter. In the living room, along with the quiet, you'll find a projector you can connect to your laptop and spend the evening with a film by candlelight. Through the winter, the automatic pellet stove keeps everything cosy, so staying warm on cold evenings is one thing you'll never have to think about. And then all that's left is to crawl into bed and watch the stars as you drift off to sleep. Guest access Guests have the whole cabin to themselves, including the outdoor terrace with seating by the fire pit — and the entire wide forest all around. Other things to note The cabin is an ideal base for hiking or cycling, and thanks to the nearby river, it's a great spot for a swim too. And if you find yourself with nothing to do on a rainy day, you can head out in search of the fire salamander, a frequent visitor to the area.
