Hollybank, Kyleakin, Skye

Newly to let, Hollybank is located in the pretty Skye village of Kyleakin. Hollybank is an excellent base for touring Skye and the surrounding area: Eilean Donan Castle, Plockton, Applecross, the Glenelg Brochs, and many more. We have recently bought and renovated this lovely house which is next door to our own home so we are on hand to provide recommendations and assist you in making the most of your time in the beautiful Skye and Lochalsh area. The space Hollybank is a newly renovated traditional cottage, restored to provide modern comforts. This peaceful house has a tastefully furnished living/dining room, with comfortable sofas on which to relax and watch the flames in the wood burning stove. There are also books and maps about the local area, and games (in the chest coffee table) should the TV not suit your mood if the weather is bad! In addition to the wood burning stove, there is central heating throughout. Kyleakin has two pubs which serve food, but should you wish to cook on your holiday there is a well-equipped kitchen, with double oven, induction hob and microwave. There is the all important dishwasher, and a fridge, freezer, kettle and toaster. We equip the cottage with a starter pack - tea, coffee, milk, butter and some basics for self-catering (oil, salt and pepper, stock cubes and basic herbs and spices). Dish washer tablets are also provided. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and the other having twin beds. The bathroom has a bath and shower. Guest access Hollybank has its own driveway for safe, off-road parking.
