The Summerhouse, Uig. Skye

Relax at this peaceful, beautiful house. Fantastic accommodation, lovely big garden and stunning views. The perfect spot for exploring Skye and even get the ferry to the Western Isles. Local highlights (within walking distance), the famous Fairy Glen and Rha Waterfall. Also a short drive from the Quirang and the rest of the Trotternish ridge. The whole of Skye is easily accessible by car and Portree is just 15 miles Close to bars, restaurants and a great wee shop. A gem! The space There are two bedrooms. One with a Kingsize bed and one with two singles (they can easily be pushed together!) There is a newly renovated bathroom with a fantastic shower. The living room manages to be both big and cosy! A genuine open fire (rare now as most places have stoves), a smart tv and very comfortable sofas with beautiful views of the bay. The new kitchen has a breakfast bar and a door leading directly to the garden. The kitchen spills into the hall where there is an antique dining table. The garden is pretty huge, with its own stream and mini bridge - the kids will love exploring. There is some outdoor seating to sit and have a drink as the sun goes down. Fast Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. Guest access Guests can use all the spaces in the house and garden. Other things to note Skye can be busy, particularly in the summer, but it’s a big island - so if you want solitude, then it’s easy to find. I am happy to give advice on where to escape crowds or, if you’re in the mood, where to go find them!
