Positioned at the beginning of Connemara, this modern home is a great base for exploring Galway city, Salthill or Connemara & is perfectly situated if you are planning a trip along the Wild Atlantic Way. The house is an 8-minute walk to Barna village, 12-min drive to Salthill & 15-min drive to Galway city. The space The room has a double bed with a private en-suite & is located on the top floor of the house in a spacious attic conversion. There are 2-sets of stairs to get to the room so if you don’t like stairs this may not be the room for you! The en-suite has a shower, toilet & sink. Bed linen & towels provided. The water pump is located in a room off this bedroom & makes a noise when water is in use. This is not usually loud. Highlighting it so if you hear a noise during your stay you are aware of what it may be. The house is a new build so is still a work in progress. This is a strictly no smoking home. Parking for one car in the driveway directly in front of the house. Guest access This double room is suitable for a solo traveller, a couple or two friends travelling together who need a base to stay while exploring Galway, Connemara or The Wild Atlantic Way. The booking is room & attached en-suite only. Kettle to make tea & coffee is provided in the room. You are welcome to come & go as you please & to let yourself in & out. Other things to note Barna Village has a supermarket (SuperValu), pharmacy & lovely coffee shops (Ground & Co, Súil Éile Spás & Áituil). There are no cooking facilities available with this booking but not to worry as there are plenty of fab restaurants in Barna village such as O’Gradys on the Pier, Blackthorn in The Twelve Hotel & Donnelly’s Pub to dine out in. There are a selection of takeaway options also.
