The best views in Dorset! Hidden Valley is a stunning off-grid 40 acre site located in the West Dorset AONB, close to the village of West Milton. Uninterrupted views over a private valley all the way to the Jurassic Coast and the sea. Relax in the sauna and hot tub, hikes through the woods, or simply chill by your fire pit and watch the sun set. The space 5m Apex Bell Tent with a view through the private valley to the coast. Apex bell tents are not your standard bell tent- large panoramic doors allow for stunning views from inside the tent and increased side wall height gives maximum comfort Your tent will include a kingsize bed with comfortable mattress, pillows and duvet. There will be a chair inside as well as outdoor deck chairs and table to enjoy next to the Solo Stove (fire pit). Furnishings may differ from photos Your bell tent has a built in fly net so you can watch the wildlife through the valley without the bugs! We have single airbeds available for children (free of charge), please let us know prior to arrival (maximum of 2 per tent). There are a total of 6 tents at our site. Each tent has its own private toilet and shared showers. There is free access to the spa area which includes a hot tub, sauna, cold shower and fire pit area. The ultimate relaxed environment to fully unwind. There will be a communal kitchen for you to prepare food and wash dishes. Triple gas stove, large hot plate and three bbq available. Small communal fridge where you can store a small amount of food. There will also be a kettle, tea and coffee. All kitchen utensils (knives, forks, plates, cups etc) available in the kitchen tent. There is good signal at the campsite! Guest access There will be parking at the entrance of the site which will be clearly signposted. We will send you What3words once you book and further directions. Short walk to your tent, we are happy to help you with your bags. Other things to note 5 minutes' drive to 2 pubs (Three Horseshoes, Marquis of Lorne) 30 minutes off-road walk to the Three Horseshoes pub 10 minutes' drive to the nearest town of Bridport (great market on a Saturday and Wednesday) 10 minutes' drive to a number of beautiful Jurassic coast beaches. Numerous walks and trails on the doorstep If you are into walking, you can walk freely on our 40 acres. There is a stream at the bottom of the valley that you can follow. Our land borders a forest managed by the Woodland Trust and from there you can follow many footpaths. There is one that even takes you through an ancient Holloway, thought to have been used since the early Iron Age. We will provide maps and assistance! We have planted 2,000 trees with a grant from the Woodland Trust which you can visit. No WiFi but good phone reception.
