Mother nature and seasonal changes play a key role, with summer weather patterns typically moving the sand northward and winter systems shifting it back south. As a result, the beach may lack sand from July through October and sometimes become detached from the more bustling parts of Seven Mile Beach. At times, the water may also reach our seawall during active wave conditions The central portion of Seven Mile Beach generally offers the widest and most consistent stretches of sand, but this is reflected in the much higher pricing of accommodations in that area compared to Cayman Reef Resort.
