We have been Chesnaysiens-Versaillais for 27 years and Versailles is our favorite city: a royal city, with wide avenues and beautiful architecture, it is very easy to get around on foot, by bicycle or by car. The many tourists provide a holiday atmosphere, and then this Castle in the middle of the city is amazing. Access to the gardens every day of the year allows you to relax or play sports. That's why we open the doors of our home to share a French way of life. The neighborhood is the most central of Versailles, just a few meters from the many restaurants of Avenue de Saint-Cloud (La Crêperie "La PLACE"; Le "Petit Bouillon"; Le Pub "O'Paris") or the Place du Marché Notre-Dame (Le Little Italy is our favorite restaurant in the Antiques district). We also recommend Restaurant Le 7 located at 7 Rue de Versailles. The Palace of Versailles is obviously a must-see, as well as its Grand Canal and its magnificent gardens and groves.
