Waterfront House Abercrombie (Pictou-New Glasgow)

This recently renovated waterfront home is just 10 minutes from both New Glasgow and Pictou, and 15 minutes from Melmerby Beach and Caribou-Munroes Island. It features a full kitchen, 3 bedrooms, one bathroom, AC, and a fenced yard- perfect for kids or pets. One bedroom offers water views. There’s direct access to the shoreline, but please note: the path is natural and used at your own risk. Shore has oysters, so footwear is essential. A peaceful coastal getaway with all the comforts of home. The space The home has a deck facing the water, perfect for morning coffee in the Fall, Summer, and Spring. There is a barbecue. The waterfront is located with the East River meets the Pictou Harbour. There are a few oyster shells in the river bed, so it is not ideal for swimming. There is a firepit, but Nova Scotia Burn Restrictions must be followed and guests are responsible for any fines if these rules are not followed. In the winter, the floors can be a little chilly, and we leave laundered slippers and cozy socks for you to use if you'd like. The home is otherwise well-heated and very comfortable.
