Beautiful, spacious riad

This beautiful, spacious riad in the medina of Essaouira offers you 6 ensuite bathrooms (11 beds), 2 kitchens, 3 terraces and an open plan living - dinning area with 2 fireplaces. The riad sleeps up to 14 people. Ideal for an extended family or group of friends. The riad is cleaned everyday, except Sunday. Breakfast and dinner are not included but are available on request The base price shown is for up to 8 guests. For each additional guest there is a supplement of 200 dhs per day. The space There are 6 ensuite bedrooms on three different levels. There are 3 standard double beds on the first floor, and 8 single beds on the second and third floor. The 2 bedrooms on the second floor have 3 singles each, the bedroom on the third floor has 2 singles. In each room two of the singles can be put together to form a big double bed. On the ground floor there is a kitchen with small dinning table; a large open plan seating area with fireplace, light-well and ample seating; a dinning area with seating for 12-14 and a small fireplace. On the terrace there is a small kitchen, two covered seating areas and sunloungers. On the top terraces there are great views over the medina. The bedrooms and bathrooms are cleaned everyday, the floors and terraces are sweep everyday and washed every 2-3 days. As there are 4 levels there are a lot stairs to climb!! So the riad is not ideal for people with mobility issues. As, with all houses in Essaouira there is no central heating - only the fireplaces and 2 gas heaters on the ground floor. Also like all houses in the medina (or 99%) there is no air-conditioning - as it is, not needed in medina . The summer climate, temperature in Essaouira, especially in the medina is very different from Marrakech! Guest access You will have use of all the riad. You will not share the space with myself or other guests. It will be just for you and your group only. Other things to note The base rate shown is for up to 8 guests. For each additional guest there is a suppliement of 220 dhs (+/- 20€) per night. A maximum of 2 babies, under 2 years old per booking.
