Enjoy a private dock with 20+ feet of water depth, just 5 minutes from the nearest boat ramp — perfect for bringing your own boat. Take in the peaceful lake views from the screened porch, relax in the hot tub, or gather around the fire pit. For even more fun on the water, we provide 4 kayaks, 2 paddle boards, and a canoe! The space Redtop Retreat combines rustic mountain elegance with the comforts of home. The house has a cabin-like interior from the pine walls to the soaring ceilings, and beautiful wood burning stone fireplace in the main living room. The main level of the home features an open floor plan with a beautiful lake view from the living room, dining room, and kitchen. An expansive screened porch is located right off of the main living/dining area with two sets of french doors providing outdoor access to even more relaxation and lake views. Downstairs you will find a secondary living and dining area with more views to the lake. With 2,400 square feet of interior space, there is room for the whole family to enjoy! GPS should lead you to it, but in case of difficulty, instructions are listed below. If you have any trouble, please reach out to us. A map/visual guide will also be sent to you before your check-in date. From Chateau Village Road: 1) At the end of Chateau Village Road, there will be a sharp left curve that will put you onto River Ridge Road which is parallel to the lake. 2) Take River Ridge Road for approx 0.3 miles, at the top of a small hill, on the right-hand side of the road, you will see a group of mailboxes in front of an RV and a sign for Watercourse Way. (If you end up in the cul-de-sac, you have just missed the turn). 3) Take that first left into the driveway in front of the RV and Watercourse Way sign. It will look like you are pulling into a private residential driveway. 4) When you first pull into the drive, you will see a small row of Crepe Myrtle trees lining the right side of the drive. You will pass a vacant lake lot and a large maroon colored house on your right side. 5) Continue straight on past that house and the road will dead end at 86 Watercourse Way. You will see the carport at the very end of the shared driveway. Other things to note *Please Note* 1) The home is located in a rural lake area. Guests may occasionally hear distant sounds such as boats, wildlife, or hunting activity from neighboring properties. 2) Home is located at the end of a shared driveway. Additional instructions/directions are included in the Guest Access details. 3) Basement Level does not have a bathroom. Bathrooms are located on the main level and upstairs/top level of home. 4) For your protection, there is one Security Camera recording the front door access and back door access on the outside only and an additional Security Camera on the back of the house on the outside only recording the dock. 5) Cell Service is not the most reliable in this area, however most major carriers can pick up a signal at the top of the driveway up the hill. Home has reliable WIFI and you will be able to enable WIFI calling on your smartphone. 6) Kayaks, canoe, paddle boards, lily pad are available for your enjoyment. Due to the nature of lake water/outside elements, they may not always be perfectly clean. 7) All outdoor lights and the outdoor TV are on a timer that automatically shuts off at 11pm. During the summer months, string lights remain off to prevent attracting bugs/spiders. You are free to manually turn them on until 11pm (to prevent any disturbance to neighbors). 8) While we do have regular professional pest control, occasionally a curious insect might wander in uninvited. Rest assured, we keep the property clean and treated, but nature is persistent. By booking, you acknowledge that the occasional bug sighting is possible and understand that the owners cannot be held liable. 9) Please watch your step while on the property. There are stairs inside and outside and various terrain. Be mindful when on the dock. Swim platform is attached but there is a narrow gap between the platform and the dock. Please use a flashlight when walking the property at night. 10.) Parking for boat/jetski trailers is at the very top of the hill directly above the house in the cul-de-sac.
