LAKESIDE is a newly renovated bright walkout apartment on a 2.2 acre forested property on the shores of Bras d'Or Lake. Located 10 min west of the quaint Village of Baddeck, where the Cabot Trail begins & ends. Centrally located, Lakeside is a great home base for all your island adventures. After a busy day relax beside a roaring fire, sit & sip on the floating dock or go for a paddle on the lake. Mine is a great spot to enjoy nature. Adults Only. The space Lakeside is a bright modern 1 bedroom private suite in the lower level of the house with a walk out to a patio (separate entrance), BBQ, firepit area and access down a path to the lake side. The property is located in a peaceful private rural neighborhood a short drive from town. Enjoy a fully equipped eat in kitchen for meal preparation including a fridge w/freezer and range w/oven. There is a living area complete with a smart TV, Bluetooth speaker, books and games. Private bathroom with a walk in shower (no tub), a bedroom with a luxury queen bed, clothing storage and a dedicated workspace. Guest access The suite is private and self contained. We share the forest and waterfront. You have access to the dock and canoe/kayak. Lots of parking on property. There is a Bunkie that the family uses to escape the house and enjoy the shoreline. Other things to note Please note that we have a one year old (in training) Airedale Terrier named Lilly and there is a older child onsite.
