Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. “Escape to a charming two-bedroom park model home on a serene micro-farm in Bay Shore, New York! This cozy retreat features a full kitchen, a comfortable living room, and a lovely front deck. Just minutes from the train to NYC, 10 minutes from the Fire Island ferries, 1:15 minutes to the NF, wine country and 1.5 hours from Montauk Point. It’s the perfect romantic getaway for couples and can accommodate two to three children as well. The space A beautiful private park model mobile home on a small homestead. The actual place that all of the Grandpa Lou Farm Stories began!!! Bright and roomy with excellent climate control. Enjoy a relaxing campfire with plenty of free firewood and wake up to the crow of roosters. There is shared areas outside your front door. Picnic areas, barbecues, outdoor tables and chairs. There is also some beach essentials available such as a cooler, beach, umbrella, and some beach chairs. Enjoy a nice hot indoor or outdoor shower. Play cornhole or just relax in the great outdoors. A fantastic spot for a family with children or a couple. Not suitable for two couples due to the bunk beds being designed for children. This year in 2026 we are encouraging and offering self guided nature learning options. We are providing books on trees and plant identification. Bird watching books and necessary supplies. Books and supplies to enjoy astronomy. There is a informal nature trail “off property” but with direct entry from our homestead. Books and hands on learning about chickens and basic homesteading. Guest access Enter through automatic gates and park your car inside the private property, right in front of your accommodations. Enjoy your own space as well as plenty of shared spaces. Other things to note This is a small working homestead. There is chickens, turkeys and other poultry on the property. There are also two active honey bee hives on the property but way off to the corner of the property. There may be grass cutting or general farm work going on during daylight hours. Accommodations are best suited for couples, families, two adults and 2 to 3 children or singles. The top bunk bed is not designed for adults. We love and respect your pets but we ask that they are controlled, friendly and properly vaccinated.
