Cozy Cottage conveniently located between the walkable towns of Kent & New Milford. 15 Minutes to Metro North train station. A car is recommended to explore this beautiful area ! The space We are minutes away from Candlewood Lake, Squantz Pond & Lake Warmwaug . Mt Tom, Macedonia, Kent Falls & Lovers Leap State Parks are all nearby. In addition to the famous Elephant’s Trunk Flea Market (Sunday's only), there are many wineries, breweries and towns to explore. Antique shops, ski mountains, and beautiful hiking trails, Appalachian trail, Blue trail etc. The rear of the Cottage overlooks corn and hay fields and Long Mountain. The Housatonic River is also nearby. There is a small strip plaza (George Washington Plaza) directly across the street including: Nail Salon, Liquor Store, Diner, Hair Salon, Post Office and a Day Spa. Gaylordsville has 3 Restaurants: The Old Oak Tavern (American Comfort Food). Salinas (Italian) and the fore mentioned Diner. There is also a small Mom & Pop store/deli (New Country Market).
