The space Welcome to Lakeview Estate, Your Private Lakeside Retreat! Where the coffee’s strong, the lake views are dreamy, and the good vibes start the moment you walk through the door. This charming, laid-back escape was designed with connection and comfort in mind. Step into a spacious open-concept layout that instantly feels like home. To your right, a dining space that seats six, perfect for gathering over pancakes or a sunset dinner, opens into a beautifully stocked kitchen with barstools at the island and a dedicated coffee bar (because mornings should be easy and delicious). The living room invites you to cozy up on a cushy couch, settle into one of two accent chairs, and dive into movie night on the 55” Smart TV. A large picture window fills the space with natural light and gives you front-row seats to calming lake views. Up the spiral staircase, you’ll find a fun and tucked-away loft, a kid-favorite hideout with its own 55” Smart TV for games, cartoons, or just a little independence from the grown-ups. We have a pull out couch for the kiddos and extra blankets to snuggle in! Downstairs offers comfort for all: A Full-over-Full bunk room with memory foam mattresses, fluffy pillows, and blankets galore A full-size bedroom with a Smart TV and the same snuggly touches A nearby half bath, plus a full bath stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash A laundry area with a washer/dryer and everything you need to keep life easy And then there’s the primary suite with a King Size Bed, a serene sanctuary with lake views, a walk-out patio, a luxurious en suite bath featuring a large shower and walk-in tub, and a closet big enough for a serious shopping trip. Step outside to experience the real magic: A peaceful back patio with seating for meals, morning coffee, or sunset chats A beautifully paved lakeside patio with a fire pit (s'mores kits encouraged!) Your own kayak launch, fishing dock, and space to simply dip your toes and breathe in the view Just a short stroll away, downtown Manteno offers cafés, restaurants, bakeries, and even a commuter bus that heads into downtown Chicago daily (should you ever want to leave, though we won’t blame you if you don’t). Local fun includes: Lucille Thies Park with pickleball courts and walking paths The Square on Second, a community gem with a zip line, climbing features, water play, a jumping pillow, and seasonal events like Rockin’ on the Square, Yoga on the Square, Fire Log Jam, and Santa on the Square Whether you’re traveling with family, escaping for a quiet couple’s weekend, logging on for remote work (and logging off for lake views), or sneaking away for a solo recharge, Lakeview Estate is your invitation to unwind, reconnect, and stay a while. Add Ons: Our nightly rate includes up to 2 guests. To keep the home comfortable and properly maintained, there is a $50 fee per additional guest. This helps cover the extra cleaning, laundry, utilities, and supplies required to prepare the home for larger groups. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to hosting you!
