A very spacious, beautiful house set in the quiet and tranquil village of Hilderstone. The house has very large lounge with plenty of seating, plus dining room, kitchen, study and gym in the conservatory. Upstairs are four large bedrooms, all with king size or double beds, the master bedroom has large en-suite with walk in shower, with a further large family bathroom. The fully fitted kitchen has everything you would expect to find, including gas hob, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. The space The house is a large four bedroom property with gardens front and rear. The house can sleep 9, with four king size or double beds, the ninth guest would have to sleep on a single mattress on one of the bedroom floors. If you have an infant under 140 cm tall there is also a cot available, so could actually sleep 10. The ground floor consists of fully functional kitchen, utility, toilet, conservatory / gym, lounge, dining room with seating for eight, and study, which has a wide selection of books available to read, and conservatory / gym, which has a treadmill, cross trainer and exercise bikes. The first floor has four double bedrooms, one with en-suite, and large main bathroom. . There is no access to the second floor, which is being renovated. Work on the second floor has been suspended until the autumn, so there will no decorating going on during your stay. The ground floor and first floor are all decorated and furnished to a high standard. Please note if you have small children that there is a goldfish pond at the house. This pond is located at the side of the house, NOT the rear garden. The rear garden is totally enclosed and secured with a locked gate so completely safe for small children. Guest access You have full exclusive use of the ground floor and first floor of the house, and all the contents within. There are plenty of activities to keep you entertained- the study is full of board games, books, darts, there is a large selection of DVDs and more board games in the lounge, and a gym to use. There is no access to the second floor of the house. There is also no access to the detached garage or the bedroom above the garage which may be occupied during your stay. There is plenty of parking available in front of the garages, at the side of the garage, and street parking also available if needed. Other things to note Any use of the gym equipment during your stay is under your responsibility, and the owner is not responsible for any wrong use, or accidents and injuries caused by the equipment or amenities during your stay. When you enquire about placing a booking, please make comment that you have read this policy in regard to the gym equipment. No bookings will be confirmed without making this confirmation. There will be a welcome pack for you to read on your arrival, which gives details of how to get the best out of the house, and gives details of local pubs, restaurants and supermarkets There is a 25% discount for bookings of 7 days or more. There are so many places to visit and attractions close by that could easily fill up your week, including Alton Towers, Drayton Manor Theme Park, Moddershall Oaks Spa Retreat and the Peak District. The welcome pack has a comprehensive list of everywhere to visit. A good road infrastructure gives easy access to numerous towns and cities, including Stafford, Stone, Stoke on Trent, Uttoxeter, Birmingham and Manchester.
