Cozy 1920's cottage style home on historic Baxter Street Hill with views of Downtown LA, close to Dodger Stadium, Echo Park Lake, Silverlake Reservoir & Sunset Junction. Short drive to Downtown LA, Pasadena and Hollywood. The space Lot of the home's original 1920's cottage style features have been updated and restored including a vintage claw-foot bathtub... great for relaxing candle-light bubble baths! Guest access Completely private and tranquil backyard patio (for guests use only) with Zen inspired gardens, plenty of cozy seating areas, gas grill and outdoor day bed. Great for relaxing, lounging and outdoor dinning. The front porch offers views of Downtown LA and historic Baxter Street Hill. (Note: The house is located on one of the steepest streets in LA, so if you’re intimidated by hills this is not the home for you.. but if you enjoy vigorous walks you can actually see the “Hollywood Sign” from the top of the street!) Off-street parking is available on-site at the property for one small-sized car in the driveway, and there’s plenty of level street parking at the top and bottom of the hill. Amenities include: air conditioning in the living room and bedroom, a full-size kitchen, complete w/modern Keurig coffee maker, an assortment of coffee, teas, hot chocolate, and plenty of bottled water are provided for each guest. A full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, gas stove, cable television, outdoor gas bbq, portable electric heater and wash & dryer use for long term guests. Other things to note The entire house upstairs, including the front porch, backyard and driveway are not shared and are for guest use only. However, there is a permanent tenant that lives on the property downstairs in a separate studio apartment with his own separate entrance and private side patio. You most likely won’t even see him during your stay except when he’s getting the mail from the mailbox on the front curb. Also two very friendly Beagles named “Lucy & Charlie” sometimes come to visit and have access to the backyard from a dog-run along the side of the house from downstairs. They love to pop-up in the backyard when guests are here for belly rubs and treats! Please be cautious about keeping the side gate in back closed so they don’t go exploring the neighborhood on their own off-leash. Registration Details HSR21-000224
