Spacious cabin beside the sea

Situated in the township of Braes, only a 15 minute drive from Portree, our cabin 'moonen' overlooks the Sound of Raasay. It sits on the sea side of an old church building, near the shoreline. It is peaceful here and a haven for wildlife. You can sometimes see whales and dolphins from your window and seals and otters on the nearby shore. Roe deer, sea eagles and buzzards are a common sight too. Enjoy beautiful views over to the Island of Raasay from both the bedroom and living area. The space The cabin has a king-sized bedroom, dressing table with mirror and space to hang your clothes. It has a separate large shower room. The living room/dining area is spacious and comfortable and it has a fully-equipped kitchen. There is an oven, fridge and dishwasher. We will provide tea, coffee and porridge oats for your stay. The nearest shops are 6 miles away from the cabin, in Portree. Guest access You will have the entire cabin to yourselves. It is in a secluded part of our garden, we are separated by hedges and the old church building which means we do not overlook the cabin. You have your own entrance gate and parking but you may see us in passing in the garden. Other things to note The cabin doesn't have facilities for small children, it is only suitable for adults.
