Wi-Fi We have a fully furnished 800 sqft apartment located above our hanger at the Flying A Ranch'et. The apartment is in exceptional condition offers all the amenities you would expect with a nice hotel or bed and breakfast. One of the best features of our place is the location. We are located at I-35 and Hwy 170 between Roanoke (The Unique Dinning Capitol of Texas) and Keller. Jumping on the highways can have you into downtown Fort Worth or Dallas in 30 mins or less. Very quick commute to Grapevine, Los Colinas and DFW Airport, not to mention just Alliance Airport and Texas Motor Speedway. We value our privacy as we are sure you value yours. The apartment is yours to enjoy. However, we do live in the house next door so we'll always be close by if you need anything. We live in a private AirPark community. Yes that means we have our own runway and most residents have airplanes. Fly in travelers are always welcome. But don't think junky old hangers and the smell of jet fuel. Think nice hill country style houses with private planes and hangers outback. You also need not worry about noisy planes constantly coming and going. The planes are quiet and usually only a handful of takeoffs and landing per week. The community is gated and our "Ranch-et" as we like to call it is located in the back so privacy and quiet is maxxed out and traffic is nill. Our place is famous for Big Sky sunsets and there is a delightful private pond across the street. We will ask that you obey the road signs and always be aware and yield to aircraft should you encounter one. There's no public transit in Texas! But there's hardly a better spot in town to get quickly to any place in the DFW area. From DFW we are only 15 mins north west on Hwy 114 and you will have private parking in the back. NOTE TO ALL GUESTS: Our apartment is located above our hanger and there is a steeper than normal staircase you must climb to access the apartment. So I suppose its not a good place if you are handicapped or have difficulty climbing stairs.
