The space Welcome to the Treehouse in the Walled Garden Step into a one-of-a-kind retreat nestled within a historic walled garden, where three circular pods rise at different levels beneath the canopy of a mature cherry tree. This quirky and characterful treehouse offers a memorable stay with a playful, nature-inspired charm, surrounded by peaceful greenery and the sound of birdsong. Living and Dining Spaces The main pod features an inviting open-plan living and dining area, complete with a cosy lounge, dining table, and a compact yet well-equipped kitchenette. Wooden walls and natural finishes create a warm, rustic atmosphere perfect for relaxing after a day exploring central Scotland. A full range of crockery, utensils, and small appliances are provided for your convenience. Sleep Comfortably The sleeping pods include a zip-and-link superking bed in one room—ideal for couples or two singles—and a second bedroom with standard single bunk beds. Each room is thoughtfully styled with comfort in mind, offering plenty of natural light and warmth. Additional Facilities While the treehouse includes a kitchenette, guests also have access to a fully-equipped communal kitchen and laundry room within the garden, offering electric ovens, hobs, washing machines, and dryers. These facilities are located just a short walk from the Treehouse and provide everything you need for longer stays. The Location This peaceful retreat is ideally situated less than a 10-minute walk from the village centre, where you'll find an Aldi supermarket, four takeaways, a restaurant, a pub, and a post office. Polmont Woods lies directly opposite the garden, offering shaded walking trails leading to Millhall Reservoir—a quiet spot for deer watching and peaceful waterside strolls. Keen golfers will appreciate the proximity to Polmont Golf Club, just minutes away. Plus, with Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Stirling, all reachable within a 30-minute drive or train journey, and Loch Lomond, the Trossachs, and Perth, around 45 minutes away, the location offers easy access to some of Scotland’s most iconic destinations. A Unique Garden Community One of six individually designed units within this exceptional walled garden, run as a not-for-profit to support a listed building and raise funds for mental health work, the Treehouse provides a rare blend of creativity, tranquility and community. Local cats roam the grounds, adding a friendly, homely touch to the shared outdoor space. Whether you're here for a short break or a longer stay, this enchanting spot offers a welcoming and unforgettable experience. Guest access Guests have access to the whole of the walled garden, with the exception of the private decks/patios alongside each unit, and the fenced garden for at the Kennel unit, plus fenced areas around the two ponds and around the back of the Kennel. The lawn areas are perfect for kids to play with the range of garden toys and games provided. The rest of the garden is a mixture of shrubs, mature trees, ponds, and areas of wildflowers. The guest kitchen and laundry is open 24 hours, monitored by CCTV for safety and security. There is a free, private parking area (covered by CCTV) just outside the walled garden, in front of the adjoining listed building. Cars can be driven into the walled garden, on request, for unloading/loading, and then returned to the car park area. Registration details FK00140F
