Our newly renovated 600 sqft apartment features a bright and welcoming living area designed for comfort and convenience. The bedroom includes a cozy king-size bed with a medium-firm mattress and a closet to store your clothes and belongings. The living room offers a sleeper sofa that pulls out into a queen-size bed, and we provide an extra set of linens and a duvet for your stay. For exceptional cleanliness and hygiene, all bedding uses duvet inserts with washable duvet covers, which are thoroughly cleaned after each guest to ensure a fresh and comfortable experience. The clean and stylish bathroom is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and towels. Enjoy free Wi-Fi—great for both relaxation and remote work—and access to the in-building laundry facilities for a small fee. The spacious kitchen includes a full-size refrigerator, stove, microwave, and various small appliances. Coffee, tea, and basic cooking essentials are provided. A formal dining area offers a comfortable place to enjoy meals. For long-term stays, optional cleaning services can be arranged at the guest’s expense. Guest access Our seamless check-in process will ensure a hassle-free arrival - detailed instructions will be provided on the morning of your check-in and your exclusive door code will be valid for the duration of your stay. For easy access to these details and efficient communication, we recommend downloading the Airbnb app. One day before check-in, we will also send you the Wi-Fi information for the unit. Please keep this handy so you can easily reach us via the Airbnb app, iMessage, or What s App if you need anything. Once you’ve checked in, you'll have access to the entire apartment, which includes a comfortable bedroom with a king-size bed, a cozy living area with a sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a clean bathroom. We've taken care of the details to make your stay comfortable, and you'll have access to in-building laundry facilities. Parking in Menlo Park can be a challenge, but we've got you covered with one designated parking stall that will fit a minivan or mid-size SUV. If you have additional vehicles, street parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please note that overnight parking requires a permit from the City of Menlo Park, which we can provide for a small fee of $2 per permit. Each permit is valid for 24 hours. With our prime location near Stanford University, you'll have easy access to all the amenities the area has to offer. Come and go as you please from your own private oasis, and enjoy all the comforts of home during your stay in Menlo Park. Other things to note House Rules & Important Information ** Security Cameras For your safety and ours, our property is equipped with outdoor security cameras monitoring the front entryway only. There is a small Wi-Fi hub inside the unit for the system. Please rest assured that no cameras have any view of the interior of the apartment—your privacy inside is fully protected. ** No Pets & No Smoking To maintain a clean, allergen-free, and comfortable environment for all guests, we have a strict no-pets and no-smoking policy (this includes vaping and any form of tobacco). If evidence of pets or smoking is found, an additional deep-cleaning fee will be charged. Thank you for helping us keep the space fresh! ** Noise Considerations We’re located in a quiet residential complex with full-time neighbors nearby. Please be mindful of noise levels both inside and outside the unit, especially after 8pm when our community’s quiet hours begin. Your consideration helps everyone enjoy a peaceful stay. ** Check-In & Check-Out Check-in: Anytime after 4:00 PM (self check-in via preset code). Check-out: Strictly by 10:00 AM. If you’ll be arriving after 8:00 PM, we kindly ask that you enter quietly to respect our neighbors. Due to our commitment to thorough cleaning and preparation between guests, we’re unable to offer late check-outs. This ensures the unit is spotless and ready for the next arrival. We truly appreciate your understanding—it’s part of what allows us to maintain the high cleanliness standards our guests love! If a later departure is needed, we recommend looking for accommodations that can accommodate that request. Unfortunately, we’re also unable to store luggage before check-in or after check-out, as our cozy 600 sq ft apartment has very limited storage space. ** Heating & Cooling Our apartment features a brand-new mini-split air conditioning unit that provides excellent cooling in summer and efficient heating in winter. It uses modern heat-pump technology, which is quieter, more energy-efficient, and eco-friendly compared to traditional systems. ** Important note for heating: When you switch to “Heat” mode, it’s normal for the system to take 5–15 minutes before warm air begins blowing. Please be patient—the unit will warm the space steadily and comfortably! ** How to use it: Use the remote control mounted on the wall. Press the “Mode” button until “Heat” is selected (look for the sun or flame icon). Adjust your desired temperature with the up/down arrows. The fan may start on low initially—this is normal as the system prepares warm air. Feel free to set it to whatever feels most comfortable—we’ve found guests really appreciate the quiet, even warmth once it gets going!
