Meet the alpacas at our luxury Shepherds Hut, set amongst the fields at our alpaca farm The space We look forward to welcoming you to the Alpaca Hof! Hof is German word, meaning homestead or farm; a nod to our Austrian family. The hut is set right in the middle of two fields; one with our four boys in and the other with our pregnant girls / and their babies depending on the time of year. You have full view of them all. The Shepherds Hut sleeps 2 adults and 2 children, in a king size and double bed, stacked as bunk beds. We can alternatively accommodate 3 adults. The hut has a really well equipped kitchen where you can cook a full meal, if you choose, with an oven, grill, hob, small fridge and freezer box. For the coffee lovers; dont panic; we’ve got you covered with a nespresso machine. To keep you warm the hut has underfloor heating, and black out blinds/ curtains. There is a small wardrobe with pull out drawers to store clothes. There is a shower room with a good size shower, a wc and sink all within the space. No need to go outside to pee! We don’t have a tv or wifi, but you will get enough signal to hotspot if you want to kick back in bed and watch some netflix. We’ve got books and board games to keep the kids entertained. We have a fan for the summer. Outside there is a big firepit, a gas bbq and seating for four around the table. There is parking for one car off the private road and low level way finding light up a gravel path to the hut. Additional cars can be parked at the farm with prior notice. We do offer private Alpaca Meet & Greet tours at a discounted rate for staying guests- with plenty of photo and alpaca hug opportunities! This is an additional cost so please get in touch to book. Guest access The Shepherds Hut has a small garden and is screened off for privacy.
