Welcome to 'Hazel' – a handcrafted hideaway in a peaceful meadow for couples or solo travellers. Featuring: - a cosy double bed with blankets and cushions - a compact fully equipped kitchen incl. a Nespresso machine - electric heater - en-suite bathroom with shower & toilet - games, books & art supplies You’ll find us in the coastal village of Whiting Bay. Within walking distance there's a local grocery, cafes, a pub and restaurants. Forestry trails, beaches and coastal walks close by. The space You’ll have the entire hut to yourself. Relax in the comfy chairs, craft and create artwork, and snooze with a view of Holy Isle. You could even make a start on that novel you’ve been thinking about … Parking is available nearby. The hut is accessed via a gravel footpath. It may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. Other Things to Note:- - NEW to the market - Fully insulated with double glazing and electric heating - Arran can be reached via ferry from Ardrossan and Troon – car and foot passengers welcome. Alternative ferry from Claonaig to Lochranza ('turn up and go' service) - No WiFi – this is a digital detox zone - Adults only - Sorry, no dogs are allowed to protect the welfare of our sheep - No smoking or vaping inside the hut - BBQs or fires are not permitted due to heightened risk of wild fires - We provide essentials like tea, coffee pods, and cooking oil - Respect the natural surroundings – leave no trace Guest access There is a keybox on your hut, so you can arrive anytime after 3pm and let yourself in. We'll provide the code on the day of your arrival. On your checkout day, please depart by 10am. Thank you.
