Welcome to 'Willow' – a handcrafted hideaway in a peaceful meadow on the Isle of Arran. Featuring: - a cosy bed with blankets and cushions - electric heater - a compact kitchenette with a Nespresso machine - an en-suite bathroom with shower & toilet - games, books and art supplies You’ll find us in the south of the island, in Whiting Bay. Within walking distance you’ll find a local grocery and coffee shop, a Thai restaurant and a pub serving food. Dyemill Bike Park is a 20-minute cycle away. The space You’ll have the entire hut to yourself. Relax in the comfy chairs, craft and create artwork, or enjoy a morning coffee in bed with Holy Isle views. You could even make a start on that novel you’ve been thinking about… Parking is available nearby. The hut is accessed via a gravel footpath. It may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. Other Things to Note:- - NEW to the market - Arran can be reached via ferry from Ardrossan and Troon – car and foot passengers welcome. Alternative ferry from Claonaig to Lochranza ('turn up and go' service) - Fully insulated with double glazing and electric heating - No WiFi – this is a digital detox zone - Adults only - Sorry, no pets due to the welfare of our sheep - No smoking inside the hut - BBQs or fires are not permitted due to heightened risk of wild fires - We provide essentials like tea, coffee pods, and cooking oil - Respect the natural surroundings – leave no trace Guest access There is a keybox on your hut, so you can arrive anytime after 2pm and let yourself in. We'll provide the code on the day of your arrival.
