The space The cabin is 80 sqm and has three bedrooms, where two are furnished with double beds and one with a practical bunk bed – perfect for families or groups up to 6 people. Two stylish bathrooms make it easy for everyone to have space and privacy; the main bathroom has an inviting soaking tub and direct access to a hot sauna for relaxing after a long day out. The living and dining area is bright and spacious, with a large dining table that can accommodate up to 8 people – ideal for long meals or pleasant game nights. The cabin has a sunny terrace with comfortable outdoor furniture and a fire pit, where you can enjoy the silence, look at the starry sky and feel the tranquility of the mountains. Wood for the fire pit you will find easily accessible just outside the front door. Laundry room with washing machine. Convenient parking for two cars on your own property, and the year-round road makes it easy to get to the cabin all year round. From spring to winter, the mountain opens up for great hiking experiences with a network of trails suitable for every level of experience. For an overview of hiking opportunities, we recommend checking the tourist association's pages or Visit Sirdal's websites. Right outside the cabin starts the cross-country trails. Here you can easily buckle on the skis and follow well-groomed tracks that stretch over many miles. For alpine enthusiasts, Tjørhomfjellet and Ålsheia are just a short drive away. With one lift pass you will access both. The nearest grocery store can be found in Sinnes (Joker), with good selection and long opening hours. 10 min drive or 30 min to walk. In Sinnes is also located Hekta, a cozy bakery that offers fresh bread and pastries – a must for a good start of the day. Sinnes Fjellstue is a popular gathering place where you can enjoy a cold drink and meet nice people. At Høyt and Lavt at Tjørhom you can rent mountain cart, SUP and try frisbee golf. There is also a cozy beach where you can swim during the summer. For a memorable dinner, the Castle is recommended – a restaurant with stunning views of the valley, perfect for a special evening, or a cozy lunch. The cabin is a perfect starting point for Kjerag and Lysefjorden, and is only one hour (45.5 km) from the parking lot at Ørneredet - the starting point for the popular mountain trip to Kjeragbolten. By the parking lot you will also find Ørneredet cafe and restaurant, which opens in May and offers amazing views and good food – perfect for a break before or after the trip. All beds have duvets and pillows without bed linen. Bed linen and towels can be rented for a supplement of 200 NOK per set. Please indicate if this is applicable when booking. The beds in bedrooms 1 and 2 are 200 x 150 cm. In bedroom 3, the lower bunk bed is 200 x 115 cm, and the upper bunk bed is 200 x 75 cm. All duvets are 200 x 140 cm, and pillows 70 x 50 cm. We want to rent out to families and responsible adults. No partying. Animals do not allow. Minimum 4 nights. If you want less nights, please contact the landlord directly. Smoking, e-cigarettes, and vaping are not permitted on the property. Guest access You will have access to the entire cabin during your stay, except for the loft and an external storage room used for storing private belongings. Other things to note NOTE: EV charging is not available. Therefore, DO NOT charge with an emergency charger from an external socket. The nearest fast charging station is in Sinnes at Jokerbutikken, 10 min drive away. All beds have duvets and pillows without bed linen. Bed sheets and towels can be rented for a supplement of NOK 200 per set which includes sheets, bed sheets and one bath towel per person. Please indicate if this is applicable when booking. We will leave hand towels. Mandatory cleaning costs 1500 NOK to be paid by the tenant in addition to the rental price.
