The awesome view is always a hit. We have a great locations within the resort and the home is well maintained.. La Casa has been a great place to visit to get a change of scenery we all need .It is not uncommon to see big horn sheep in the area, deer, a large variety of birds.. You can tell you are not in the city. ******* Come for a quick getaway, a special occasion, summer holiday, fall wine tours. Keep busy during your stay or put your feet up and/or relax. It can be whatever you want or need to refresh. There's a (resort)..grassy greenspace next to our cottage for owners or guests to use if your kids young or old need to play a game or hang out. Take a walk, swim, a hike, a run, do nothing, read a book, listen to music, star gaze, suntan, enjoy a coffee and sunrise or a wine/beer at sunset. You decide when you want. Keep in mind the Okanagan has so many outdoor activities to explore. Book a wine tasting, do a patio lunch in town, visit some attractions like zip lining, visit the kangaroo farm in the area, take a boat ride. It's a good idea to call the amenities in town to be sure they are open/hours as expected. Venture outside the city and hotel rooms. We offer a different experience. Located 35-45 minutes from Kelowna/Westbank. Come share our cottage with an outstanding Lake Okanagan view, within a resort surrounded by nature. La Casa is a 500 acre gated cottage community built on a hillside, providing scenic beauty, /exercise if you desire or serenity. Our cottage is conveniently located within the resort, only 5 minutes to the amenities park, resort store/cantina. Our home has some distance between neighbors below giving you a bit more privacy. Only 2 steps to get into the cottage and then the view appears.. Stay in a very well maintained home, exterior repainted 2022, interior only a couple years ago, tastefully decorated. We provide excellent service at a reasonable price. We are well suited to accommodate up to 2 couples or a small family of 4 -6 total. Stay at the resort or leave for a day trip. Go jump in the lake, play tennis or pickleball, rent a kayak, mini golf . ** Bring water shoes the lake edge has some rocks, as it a protected fishery area and can not be modified to protect fish.**You can also enter the water with a ladder from one of the shore docks. Or...simply relax and enjoy each .If you love wildlife you may see mountain goats or deer on the drive to the resort, within the resort, our even on our lot below.. You don't experience that in the city. We have a secured high speed wifi, cable tv, a well stocked cottage to make you feel at home. Bring your groceries and drinks. We do leave you a welcome sack of coffee, some toiletries, laundry/dish cleaning and trash supplies. The resort store has some things if you forget including, wine/beer/snacks etc. You will also find our cottage has books for young readers, some puzzles, cards, games/toys. Even old fashion dvd's. Good if you need a break from the sun, a rainy day or time to prepare food. Enjoy a meal or beverage on the deck while taking in the views day time or night time. Our larger deck has table with 6 chairs, 2 sun lounger. Clear glass rails provide unobstructed viewing. The smaller connecting deck outside the dining room, has our BBQ, cafe table and 2 chairs for a quick bite or beverage. The deck is never too hot to enjoy. We get the morning sunrise worth getting up for along with a coffee. A sweeping lake view to the north, very nice view across the lake with a hillside. If you have a busy day, no worries enjoy the peaceful view and night lights of the lake. You can even enjoy the views from inside the cottage both floors. We do have a slight tint on our windows to keep out the summer heat and aid the air conditioning.***The amenities park includes the sandy park with swings, slides, mini golf, tennis, pickleball/volleyball***The outdoor pools/ hot tubs/amenities park open May 1st *** until Thanksgiving. The resort has 2 outdoor pools and 3 outdoor hot tubs. The Aqua Park at the lake is*** typically available starting the May long holiday weekend until Thanksgiving. . Our cottage has the racquets/related balls and pool/lake swim boards for you to enjoy. The Resort is open year round, off season is more quiet, peak summer is typically busy. Relax on one of the lakeside sundecks on the waters edge, or limited lounge chairs by the lake. Go early or bring your own chair. 2100 feet of private beach. You can enter the lake by a dock & ladder, walk out, swim out. Be prepared to drive 5 minutes to the lake, walk down a driveway and along the lake to get to the dock/chairs. The kayaks/paddle boards are privately available to rent through the resort store. Bring your mountain bike enjoy a trail ride behind the resort.. Marathoners like the challenge of a run or lake swim. Explore the Fintry Provincial Park, only a 5 minute drive north of the resort. Climb the 400 steps to the beautiful falls, walk the beach or shoreline there. La Casa boaters are known to use the Fintry boat launch it is free. Or. explore Bear Creek on Westside Road and the beautiful view of Kelowna its free exercise & view. If you are visiting the region for the first time you will want to venture around the Okanagan area coined the NAPA Valley of the North.. Let your adventurous side guide you to your favorite activity. Wine tours are available with local pick up and drop off. So leave the driving to someone else and enjoy. Explore 14 wineries within one hour of the resort. Take a guided winery tour or drive yourself. Choose from large wineries like Mission Hill or Quail's Gate with superb views, wine tastings, food pairings or small boutique wineries where you may meet the owners. Even the tours offer a variety of options.**Some wine tours will pick up and drop off at the resort) Stop for a lunch or dinner take it all in. Be organized or meander. If you a wine enthusiast come to the Okanagan for one of our wine festivals spring and fall. Very extensive activities We are a hidden treasure you need to experience. Once may not be enough. Save time for the regions World Class golf courses to challenge you. Book your tee time at Predator Ridge, Gallagher's Canyon or choose from over 40 courses between 25 minutes to one hour away. Bring a family member or friend to the driving range for practice. We definitely have a wide spectrum of courses with one to match your skill or handicap. We hope you will visit La Casa. Many visitors do not have the desire to leave the resort during their stay. One suggestion is to explore the region during the day and relax at night. Whatever makes you happy during a vacation.
