The Beaver Pond Treehouse @ Vermont ReTREEt
Nestled in the heart of the Green Mountain National Forest and above a lively beaver pond, this treehouse stands as a haven from the everyday, crafted by our hands to offer a reTREEt into wilderness in the heart of central Vermont. Elevated above the earthly realm, this sanctuary is cradled by three hemlock trees. Beyond the arboreal haven, the allure of the surrounding area between Killington and Sugarbush beckons with a selection of wilderness based activities. Treehouse now has plumbing!!!! The treehouse is perched on the side of our hill, the road to the treehouse is sloped and gravel. You are welcome to park in the field below and we will drive you to the treehouse, or after we show you the treehouse you are welcome to drive your vehicle to it if you feel comfortable We are usually home working on things so feel free to stop by after check in if you have any questions. The wife is a massage therapist who uses a different treehouse on the premises for work, if you want to book a massage please ask about it way before your stay. We are located on a hillside of the Green Mountain National Forest with the Hancock river separating us from our human neighbors. Some local-ish fun things to do including hiking trails, seasonal skiing at Killington, Sugarbush, or the snow-bowl, fishing and hunting in the local areas, art and food in nearby Rochester, and some great breweries! Personal vehicles, bikes, and hiking boots are the best way to get around up here. This treehouse now has a bathhouse (plumbing recently added!) just steps off the platform of the treehouse which has a bathroom and a limited kitchenette
