Aylor Hollow's country store and home of Morris and Julia Utz. Here they raised two children and made countless friends as they provided for the residents of Aylor. My name is James, my family has lived and farmed in Aylor for 9 generations. My grandparents and great grandparents ran the Aylor store here in our community. Our homes are tucked away in the crooks and crannies of the Blue Ridge foothills. The distant low of a mother cow calling to its newborn calf, the smokey fog blowing down through the valley and the stillness after a summers night rainstorm are just a few of the things I love about my home here in Aylor. Also note that Aylor is a quiet safe place, take comfort in the fact that while you stay at the Aylor store, your closest neighbor will be an officer at the local sheriff's department. A vehicle is the best way to get around to areas of interest outside of Aylor, but a bike ride or an evening walk will be a wonderful way to relax. The Aylor store is a special place for the Utz family and the residents of Aylor. People drive slow, wave often, and just might lean out their vehicle window to say hi.
