Description
Make yourself at home in this spacious self-contained wing of a family house. Walking distance to local pub with good food, a village shop and supermarkets. Countryside walks abound with easy access to main roads and a 20 minute walk to Alton station. Bright airy rooms, well equipped kitchen and bathroom, private entrance and driveway parking. Outside space for dining or relaxing is also available. The space Enter into a comfortable living area with a dining table and desk, TV and armchairs. Books, jigsaws, backgammon and playing cards are available too. The double bedroom looks over the back garden and has a chest of drawers with a hairdryer plus hooks with hangers. The bed is made up with 100% cotton linen and feather pillows/duvet - if you are allergic please let us know so we can swap with fibre ones. The kitchen has a kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge/freezer, electric cooker (a bit old but still in good working order!) and a washing machine. There is plenty of crockery, glasses, cutlery, pots, pans and a baking tray, plus a set of knives should you wish to prepare something yourself - although the pub is highly recommended. Coffee - instant and ground with a cafetière, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, oil, vinegar and milk are also available. The bathroom has both a shower and bath. Towels, shampoo, body wash and toilet rolls are provided. During the summer months, you are welcome to use the garden furniture at the rear of the property for dining or relaxing - outside the bedroom window. Guest access A parking space is on the drive in front of the house. Lockbox for key in porch on right of house. Someone is usually at home if help is required. Other things to note It should be noted that the railway line to/from Alton runs along the back of the garden. There are only two electric trains up and two trains down an hour that pass in a few seconds. Unobtrusive when the double glazed windows are closed. Not suitable for any children under 18 years to stay.
