From your private patio, you’ll enjoy sweeping views of the ocean, mountains, and the coastline of Playa Zapotal. It’s a setting that truly captures the peaceful beauty of Costa Rica. A car is a necessity or transportation pre-arranged. The property is accessed by a 3KM unpaved dirt road, which adds some 'pura vida' — 4x4 is preferred but not required. Do expect some bumps - part of the adventure and a reason we fell in love with this location. It takes under 15 minutes from the entrance to the mountain and is easily found on Google Maps. While your cabina is fully private and your patio, the infinity pool may be shared with guests staying in the second casita. Just 5 minutes away is an entrance to the Las Catalinas trail system — over 50KM of hiking and mountain biking trails with incredible views and diverse wildlife. Within a short drive, you can reach some of the area’s best beaches, local cafés, and beach bars. We’ll also share our personal recommendations for quiet, non-touristy beaches and excellent local restaurants so you can experience the authentic side of Costa Rica.
