Small cottage under olive trees

Turn off your phone and enjoy this special place in the middle of Portuguese nature at the foot of the Gardunhas. On our farm in the making, we have this beautiful Tiny House for rent next to our house and behind the night quarters of our three sheep (Emma, Lilly & Arya). Based on a typical English Shepherd's Hut, we built this modern version ourselves. First for ourselves and now for you. Come, relax, unwind, enjoy & read a book. The space The Tiny House (7m x 2.5m) has an elevated double bed. The kitchen is fully furnished. You will find a spacious refrigerator, a two-burner electric hob, kettle, percolator, and the accompanying kitchen accessories. Because of the summer period, we have installed a mobile air conditioner in the house. Outside in the shade of the olive trees is a large table with benches and chairs. In addition, you can relax in the hammock or on the two lounge sofas. The starry sky is highly recommended. The shower and a regular toilet are located in the toilet building about 100 meters away. The saltwater pool & the large trampoline may be used at your own risk. Unfortunately, the swimming pool will not be in use in the coming months as it is not heated. It will probably be available again from the end of April/beginning of May. One sandbox for children is also provided. Plenty of outlets are available in the house and outside. On request, a child mattress or co-sleeper can be placed next to the double bed. Two mattresses for children can also be placed under the bed upon request. If the group is larger, we can also place a Glamping tent next to the cottage. (Extra costs) There is no WiFi available around the cottage, but there is sufficient 4G coverage. Towels and bed linens are included in the price. A full breakfast can be ordered. Please contact us for this. Washing machine & dryer can be used upon request & for a small fee. Guest access Guests are allowed to walk all over the farm. Other things to note Together with our two small children, we live on an old farm of 3 ha. In addition to 125 olive trees, you will find various fruit trees on our property, which, depending on the season, are full of delicious fresh fruit. Come and enjoy this with us. Next to our farm, you will find other farms. There is always work going on here and there. Tractor sounds are part of it. You will also encounter mosquitoes, flies and a stray ant. Hugo, our proud rooster, also makes himself heard at sunrise. Hugo's ladies lay delicious fresh eggs in gratitude for this. The eggs are sometimes also delivered to the Tiny House. In addition to the chickens (Hugo, Klaas, Susi, Henriette, Carla, Caro & Floor), three tame sheep (Arya Lilly & Emma) and our two dogs Lizzy and Emily live on the farm. Registration Details Exempt
