Location & Nearby: -5 min to Finnriver Cidery, Chimacum Corner Store, Chimacum Valley Grainery -25 min to Port Townsend -1 hour to Olympic National Park A Working Farm: This is an active farm with ongoing projects, lively animals, and occasional events. While the cottage is private, expect some surrounding activity during the day. We’ll always notify you if events are scheduled during your stay. Please also keep in mind that our farm is located right off the Beaver Valley highway and although the views may say otherwise, we are not in an entirely remote location. You may hear road noise, our tractor engine, animal sounds or ourselves/land-mates as we work on the farm during your stay. Guest access During your stay, you’ll have full and private access to the entire cottage, including both bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living and dining areas, in-unit laundry, and your own outdoor terrace space. The cottage has its own private entrance with a keyless keypad for easy check-in and flexibility. You are welcome to explore much of the farm during your stay. Feel free to walk the garden paths, enjoy the open fields, and take in the views of the animals and surrounding landscape. Please stay on established paths and kindly keep any gates or fences closed if they were closed when you arrived. We’ve also marked a Creek Path you’re welcome to follow if you’d like to walk farther into the valley (please message us if you have questions about this). Depending on the day, you may spot our sheep grazing in different areas — we rotate them regularly to fresh pasture as part of our regenerative farming practices. Bonfires: If you’d like to have a bonfire during your stay, just let us know! We’re happy to direct you to the designated fire area and provide firewood as available. We do ask that you check in with us first so we can ensure fire safety and current burn conditions allow. The animal enclosures and certain farm infrastructure are reserved for farm operations, but you’ll have plenty of space to safely enjoy the peaceful scenery, observe animals from a distance, and take in the full farm experience. We’re often nearby working on the farm and always happy to answer questions or share more about what’s happening during your stay. And of course, if you need anything at all, we’re just a message away!
