Cayuga Lake Retreat

Enjoy a sweeping view of Cayuga Lake at this unique and tranquil getaway just 15 minutes from downtown Ithaca & Cornell. Our walkout basement guest quarters has a separate entry, path, and parking space. The lake is visible from every room but the bathroom. A beautiful bluestone patio is the perfect place to watch the sunset. There is no water access on the property, but we are five minutes from a Myers Park which offers swimming, canoe/kayak rentals, & Pontoon boat rentals at Lansing Harbor! The space We are happy to share our quiet, end of the neighborhood road, wooded property with you. The guest quarters of our home is accessed by a walkway from your reserved parking space off the driveway. There are 12 steps down to the patio and entry. The patio is a lovely large stone structure with a sweeping view of the lake. You'll enter a tiled sunroom with a loveseat, coat rack, etc. The living room is adjacent with a couch facing the lake view, smart TV for your streaming platforms, and bedroom and bath off of one side and the kitchen off the other side, complete with a choice of table and chairs or countertop bar seating, full fridge and freezer, dishwasher, large sink, two induction cook top burners and a countertop oven/toaster, granite countertops, open shelving, pantry, Keurig coffee maker and electric kettle. Guest access The designated gravel parking space and path lead to the guest quarters, which are private and for your use, entirely. We will provide you with the number combination to the door on the day of your arrival. Other things to note This listing is limited to 2 guests and one car only. And there is no entertaining allowed during your stay. We live upstairs in the main part of the house and are very invested in being good neighors to those who live on our street.
