Sit on the deck or on the private sandy beach perfect for families of all ages. Go back in time with our wash tub kitchen sink and the outdoor shower while still enjoying other modern comforts. Shopping in Huntsville or Burk's Falls, Fishing, hiking in Algonquin park so many other fun activities in our surrounding area or just relax! The space Welcome to Little Sparrow’s Nest Cottage. Welcome to our little rustic Sparrow’s Nest Cottage, a quaint and cozy getaway nestled right by the lake. Our cottage sleeps up to four guests with two double beds. We have welcomed several groups of four and have found that, while the cottage is cozy, the rooms are small. If you love spending time outdoors and enjoying the beach, you may not even notice the small cabin! We do our best to make your stay as comfortable as possible while sharing our beautiful property with you. The cottage has Wi-Fi, although it can be spotty at times, and we now offer a TV for those rainy days when you want to relax indoors. Our beach is 150 feet from the cottage. It very shallow with a hard bottom, making it a wonderful and safe place for swimming and enjoying the water. Great for little ones and fur babies. In the evening, sit around the fire pit right beside the beach, roast some marshmallows, and listen to the loons calling across the lake. It’s the simple things that make cottage life so special. We hope you’ll come, slow down, enjoy the lake, and make some wonderful memories at our little Sparrow’s Nest. Guest access Once you arrive you will have access to your private rustic cottage and beach. We welcome you to sit on the dock and enjoy the serenity of our little lagoon “Murphy’s Haven” and hopefully see some wildlife using it as a safe haven ,or sit back on our several benches and enjoy the different views of our beautiful lake. If you like to fish we have the place for you. Only locals know at the end of the road is a rocky point where many have cast a line and pull out a pike or bass. In the Fall you can enjoy the beautiful colors all around and watch the morning fog lift off the lake. Other things to note Boat ramp close by and lots of space to park your boat trailer. If the lake water level is normal we have a place to dock your boat. If it is low it can be pulled up on shore.
