Kid-Friendly, Sun-Filled Haven with Giant Backyard

Sun-drenched parlor floor of a brownstone featuring a large deck and giant backyard with gorgeous garden. Filled with art and plants, I designed the whole place lovingly. Three bedrooms, 1.5 baths, balcony with bistro table, two decks, gorgeous garden, washer/dryer in unit. The space Open layout with two big comfortable couches, dining nook, fully-stocked kitchen. Tons of light! Bedroom 1: The main bedroom is quietest and furthest from the street, with a door that opens to the private back porch. It is so quiet and so comfy. It has a new full mattress (certified organic, Pure Green!) and a mini-split AC to keep you cool all night. Bedroom 2: The front room just got a facelift. It's Parisian-inspired, crisp white walls, golden velvet drapes, and French doors opening to a private balcony teeming with flowers and herbs. It's a small room, but super cozy. Under bed drawers for storage. A desk and chair fit nicely in the corner so you can work in peace. A semi-hidden AC unit in the lower part of the door ensures a cool sleep. Bedroom 3: the children's room is far from the street, and is pure magic! So whimsical, colorful, fun, and totally child-proofed. A little tent over a Greenguard-certified kid sofa, which doubles as a toddler bed. Almost everything is certified Oeko-Tex, organic, Greenguard, or similar, since health and safety is the most important thing when it comes to kids. With tons of toys, stuffed animals, and books, kids of all ages will have hours of fun. This room can optionally be outfitted with any of the following: a desk/chair, a pack 'n play, or a very comfortable air mattress (for adult guests). 1.5 baths, one with a soaking tub and a double showerhead, which is truly heavenly. Washer/dryer in unit, free parking in private spot out front. Relax with a book, play a games, or listen to records. There's a scanner/printer if you need to do some work. We also have a brand new 55" Samsung Frame TV. Tons of outdoor space. Balcony in front, 2 decks in the back, big backyard with ample space for lounging. The fireflies are magical back there during the summer. You will love sitting out back with wine, chatting, and watching the the fireflies long into the night. Additionally, there is a makeshift gym available on one of the decks with some free weights and a pull-up bar. Located right across from a lovely park (Brower Park). The Brooklyn Children's Museum is just across the park (a 4 minute walk from the house). A very hip and delicious cafe/wine bar called Daughter just opened two blocks away; you'll run into all the neighbors and make new friends there. Just 2.5 blocks to a grocery store and 2.5 blocks to a Walgreens pharmacy. About 5 minutes down the street is Salon on Kingston, an "ever-evolving, not-for-profit space for art, music, dialogue, and surprise." About a 10 minute walk to a main street with many more cafes, restaurants, and bars. A 20 minute walk to the Brooklyn Museum and the Brooklyn Botanical Garden (or a quick subway ride). We'll leave you passes to get into the Botanical Garden for free! Prospect Park is a 30 minute walk, an easy bike-ride down Eastern Parkway's protected bike lanes, or a few stops on the subway. Since we live here full-time, our clothes and whatnot will be in many of the closets. We'll clear out some space for your stuff, of course, but this isn't an unlived-in, empty Airbnb.
