ALL Linens, bed sheets, towels, bath mats, kitchenware are included and beds made up and ready to go upon your arrival! Awesome new bedding and king size pillows on king bed—pillow cases only on 2. Extra Pillows per bed in closets, so if wish to use the other pillows please bring extra pillowcases. Due to Covid 19, the shams had to be removed to follow industry guidelines for stringent cleans due to Covid 19. The POOL and Hot tub opens at Memorial Day and it closes just day after Labor Day — there can be exceptions to these dates for extra fees where can be opened slightly sooner or stay open slightly later——JUST ASK, but Pool/Hot tub contract runs from Memorial May until Labor Day—this is reason for timing of opening and closing. Please PM if need it open sooner or later than these dates for your stay. Relaxing oasis with polywood around private pool facing ocean . You will Love it! The owners are pulling out all the stops to make this the most wonderful beach house for all! Its’ location OCEANFRONT with the best views ever! ***Please Note since Covid-19 and greater cleaning required, we are following CDC guidelines, early arrivals will not be permitted. Also, to comply with guidelines for everyone’s safety many extra bed throw decorative pillows have had to be removed . The sheets provided include one set of pillow cases and one top sheet and one fitted sheet and one blanket. There may be extra bed pillows but there are not pillow cases for any extra pillows there—so please if wish to use additional pillows bring extra pillow cases with you. Also, a starter amount of toilet paper, and paper towels and soap will be provided, but a very small amount, so please bring with you toilet paper, paper towels as well as dishwasher pods and washing machine pods for your stay. Also, please note you will see jets in the tub in master bathroom on top floor, but unfortunately they no longer function —so no spa tub but awesome hot tub and pool. Due to extra stringent cleaning requirements and time needed, you may find a blanket still in the dryer or a few dishes clean in the dishwasher —- we apologize in advance for this inconvenience. The cleaning teams are working extra long hours and often some of these items could be still drying, but rest assured they will be provided. The cleaners and locals for restaurants have all asked we convey to guests there may be delays and a few shortcomings this season again, due to lack of help at some places. Typically there are interns there over the summer who help with busy season—-but seems less right now. Also, some people moved out of the area due to the pandemic and the lack of work in the area and expenses, therefore, more shortage of people to work and assure all is perfect for the guests to the OBX. They want guests to know they are working longer hours and sparing no costs on cleaning to provide safety to keep OBX open and running for everyone, but they ask for patience and understanding, please. Also, OSHA requirements state the top bunks of all bunk beds will have sheets but they do not have to be made upon arrival——all other beds should be made upon arrival. As for wifi, there IS wifi provided but this IS a remote area—-so storms or construction can cause lines to be cut, and then since out on sand can be days for repair to be done —so recommend bring hot spot if need to work to assure have wifi………..UPDATE JUNE 7, 2024….STARLINK ADDED AS LINES HAD BEEN CUT AND HAD WAITED A WEEK FOR CENTURYLINK (NOW CALLED BRIGHTSPEED )TO COME OUT AND THEN TOLD MAYBE JUNE 14, 2024…So we Had Starlink brought in for wifi ….it IS still bit quirky but better than no wifi due to BRIGHTSPEED—so that is now the wifi there, ..again please bring own hotspot if need wifi especially if need fast connection for assurance as Starlink has been most promising of anything ever had there, but being out on sand, storms, etc can knock it out, too….so better be prepared if need reliable wifi during stay for any work, etc. There are 2 grocery stores: Food Lion and Harris Teeter in Corolla, so great place to stock up on supplies as come in or on trip out one day. Lastly, NO SMOKING inside or outside of this home in immediate vicinity of home or around the pool. Since this is strictly prohibited, if camera shows smoking around pool or just outside of doors OR if remnants of cigars or cigarettes found after checkout same day—-you will forfeit entire deposit—-so please please NO SMOKING. Thank you for your understanding as labor shortage here has continued to impact all of us...But the Beach is as gorgeous and inviting as ever and the wild horses are all out and up and down the beach! This is a great place to enjoy with your family anytime and especially now as provides peace and serenity in an environment where it is great to be out on the sand in the most magical of all places in OBX! And at Away From it all, you ARE on the oceanfront row with best views ever! And upgrades are ongoing so now you will so love it here! ** NOTE some glitch in platform and says 20 beds but is Is NOT 20 beds but 4 king size beds and 8 singles (in format of bunk beds)…so that equals 12 beds in the home…called Airbnb and they didn’t know why it says 20 beds and can’t seem to fix it BUT sleeps 16 people in beds! ** Guest access Entire PLACE..the whole house Other things to note Again will need a 4WD to access the house as on the beach so bring your own or rent one at enterprise or Outerbanks jeep dealership here and can park extra vehicles at A1Towing or North Beach Recovery for a fee—it is sooo worth it! Everyone that does it agrees —as simply no other place in Outerbanks is this magical with majestic horses and sea and sand all together!
